Mr. Lavoipierre has been licensed as an attorney in California since 1987. After graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1987, Mr. Lavoipierre served as a research attorney for a year in the Law and Motion department of the San Francisco Superior Court (Hon. Lucy Kelly McCabe), a coveted position which uniquely prepared Mr. Lavoipierre for a career in litigation. Following his service for Judge McCabe, Mr. Lavoipierre associated with the prestigious Napa law firm of Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty before striking out on his own and establishing his own practice in Sonoma in 1991.
